The Playstation 5 will be available from November 19th, but for the moment only online. As you can read on the Playstation blog, on the day of publication all sales will take place through the online stores of retail partners. With the measure, the manufacturer Sony wants to protect both sales staff and consumers from Covid-19.
“We ask you not to queue in front of local business partners or camp there in hopes of purchasing a PS5 console,” Sony told players. Anyone who has pre-ordered a console for in-store pickup should still be able to receive it on the agreed pickup date, observing all applicable security measures.
