The Municipal Health Department of Curitiba informs that it does not proceed with the information attributed to Sesa that Curitiba would incorrectly record the death data of the residents of the capital from Covid-19.
Since the start of the pandemic, Curitiba has provided transparency of information, with daily bulletins and lives to present data and report to society.
The official system for hospitalization for respiratory symptoms is the SIVEP – national database of the Ministry of Health, the reports in this system are carried out by the hospitals and daily qualified by the Epidemiology Center of the Municipality.
The Municipal Health Department of Curitiba sends the spreadsheet of all cases and deaths daily to the 2nd Regional Healthcare and Sesa. In addition to the hospital census, in addition to periodically sending the Covid data recorded to Esaúde / Curitiba via API (Data transfer between operating systems).
The 80 deaths reported have already been accounted for via SMS and the divergence reported by Sesa was presented only as of yesterday (4/11/2020). The cases are being checked one by one to identify the differences in information reported by Sesa.
It is not true that Curitiba does not correctly record the deaths, since in the daily bulletin of Curitiba, today there are 1,504 deaths with Covid registered, while in the bulletin published by Sesa there are only 1,407 confirmed deaths. It is also not true that we have not reported death figures since October 2.
