Due to poor adherence to vaccination in children and adolescents up to 15 years of age, the State Department of Health has extended the National Polio Vaccination and Multivaccination Campaign in Santa Catarina until November 13. The municipality of Balneário Camboriú has 62.44% vaccination coverage, with a target of at least 95%. 3,290 doses of polio have been applied so far.
