Light ideas

Man is turning into someone who does not understand. The measurement systems are now from “mouse” which obviously has no abstract thinking skills.

If democracy is an exercise of opinion, or “government of opinion” as Albert Dicey defined it, democracy is an empty shell, since, as Sartori observes, opinions are “light ideas” that should not be tested. We have seen how the so-called “government programs” that candidates for power previously developed have fallen into total disuse, for the simple reason that they do not influence electorally. It is enough to face two or three overwhelming questions to define that variable weakness called “public opinion”. Now, in this techno-media era, opinions are not independent, they do not arise from the conglomerate, on the contrary, they are imposed on them by technological exercise.

Many analysts have signaled the disappearance of the sensible, as concepts are erased and man becomes a receiver who sees without understanding. This explains the growing and unstoppable ignorance of politicians. We have reached a rule: those who appear conceptual cannot win the elections.

The proclaimed absolute victory of democracy has turned into a high-risk crisis in which all concepts are undergoing revision and in which traditional institutions seem to collapse. The very conception of what a democratic government is, or should be, is under discussion. The problem of the exercise of politics is also a cultural problem: education systems seem to have failed miserably. The shot full of stereotypes makes the decision, or simple political participation, an act without ideas.

The scarce influence of thought on democracy in democracy itself is due to the crisis of all transcendent thought in a world of disorder, of inconsistency, since it diagnoses collapsed ideologies in a different way from how they were built. It is not an airplane that claims to possess the truth, nor does it seek to proclaim the solution to man’s problems.

The receiver seeks the validity of his own inconsistency. Trolls, robots, and an efficient organization help him manipulate.
