In the beginning there were only two smartphones per year, then four at a time and now even up to six new devices per year. Chinese manufacturer OnePlus has big plans and is now invading the middle class with matching devices as well. OnePlus Nord N10 5G (which is a bulky name) and OnePlus Nord N100 are officially unveiled and are well below the first Nord model.

The main focus of the technical removal was on the display and processor. OnePlus Nord N10 5G uses a Snapdragon 690 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The processor also supports 5G, which should make it one of the cheapest 5G models around. For the display, the manufacturer is aiming for “smaller” 6.44 inches with FullHD + resolution. AMOLED is missing and an IPS panel is used. 90 Hertz will remain one of the main features.
The OnePlus Nord N100, on the other hand, uses a larger 6.52-inch display in a single HD resolution. The entry-level Snapdragon 430 processor is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. But this time it doesn’t support 5G. However, the 5000mAh battery that can be quickly charged with 30 watts is impressive. The N10 5G offers “only” 4300 mAh and should therefore also last a little less. The fingerprint sensor landed on the back of both devices.
Both of the new OnePlus phones also come with a new camera. The best-equipped N10 5G offers a 64MP main sensor and three additional sensors for wide angle, macro and depth measurement. The affordable N100 uses 13MP and two 2MP macro and bokeh sensors each. You shouldn’t expect camera miracles, but OnePlus not only delivers solid, but also really good images in this segment. We are curious to see if even the two budget versions can surprise.

Availability and prices of the new Nord series
The manufacturer is still holding back a bit when it comes to device availability. There is no date yet, but you can be notified of the departure via the official website. The OnePlus Nord N10 5G costs 349 Euro UVP and is therefore 50 euros less than the “large” northern model. To the OnePlus Nord N100 also costs only 199 euros of recommended price due, which is by far the cheapest OnePlus mobile phone ever released by the manufacturer.
You can then officially purchase the two new models on the website itself or later from the online mail order company Amazon. Pay special attention to the upcoming Black Friday, which may still promise one or the other bonus.
