Cars in rural Horsham district parking lots will take coins from mid-August.
Horsham District Council made changes to user feedback, allowing "greater flexibility in payment methods for parking users".
The controversial allegations were introduced in April while the council set out to cover the annual management costs of £ 315,000 of parking spaces.
Starting Monday, August 14, you will be able to pay money on Godwin Way of Roffey, North Street Car Park, Billingshurst Library Car Park, Pulborough & # 39; s Lower Street Car Park, both Steyning car parks at Fletchers Croft and High Street, and Henfield car parks at the library and Coopers Way.
Gordon Lindsay (Con, Billingshurst and Shipley), a member of the local economy cabinet, said: "Our goal is to make parking in our rural cities as simple as possible for visitors and residents.
"The introduction of the new method of payment of coins in addition to payment by card offers greater flexibility for users, adapting our service to their needs".
Mill Lane Car Park in Storrington and Newmans Gardens in Steyning already accept cash.
Signs and additional instructions will be placed in the parking lots to assist users. Payment machines only accept coins.
Visitors who opt for pay and display pay 75 points for the first hour and £ 1.50 for the maximum stay, which varies in different locations.
Long-stay season tickets are available in some parking lots, while regular users can also purchase an annual parking disc for £ 12. The subsequent disks are £ 6 with a maximum of four per family.
