The Declaration of the Ministry of Health and Population for Media Affairs and the official spokesperson for the Ministry stated that 232 new cases have been registered that have tested positive for laboratory analysis of the virus, as part of the necessary surveillance procedures investigation and examination that the ministry conducts according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, indicating the death of 14 new cases.
The statement states that, according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.
The statement said the total number recorded in Egypt with the new Corona virus to date, Tuesday, is 109,654 cases, including 100,540 cases that have been treated and 6,394 deaths.
