20 pounds a day of incubation .. fees for new health insurance services

The General Authority for Health Insurance at the Ministry of Health has decided to change the rates for obtaining its services starting next December.

According to the decree n. 857 of 2020 and obtained by Masrawy, the decision divided the new rates into several categories, on top of which are the rates of clinical services, since the rates are obtained at the request of the beneficiary to sign a medical document. Examination according to the following:

Taxes for health insurance services

• Labor (employees, pensions and widows) According to Law 79 of 75, one pound is collected for a postage stamp.
• School students under Law 99 of 1992 are charged one pound for a postage stamp.
• The head of the family, according to law 23 of 2020, is collected one pound for a postage stamp.
• School-age children, under Law 86 of 2012, are charged between £ 1 for a discussion in front of a practicing doctor, £ 3 for a specialist and £ 5 for a consultant.
• Medical research fees, a service fee of 10% of the total value of medical tests or x-rays is levied for school students and infants (for cases inside and outside the authority), with a maximum £ 20, according to the authority service’s price list.
• Hospital accommodation costs, an amount of 5 pounds is collected for each day of stay of school students and infants in the Authority’s hospitals, with a maximum of 10 days, and an amount of one Egyptian pound is collected for each day of permanence for Law 79 (employees, pensions and widows) for a maximum of 10 days, provided that the collection is carried out according to the type of Operation: secondary operations blocked in 3 days, intermediate operations blocked in 5 days, other operations blocked in 10 days.
• For kindergartens, an amount of £ 20 is charged for each day of stay in exchange for the use of the nursery for the newborn within the Authority’s units and after writing the transfer letter to the contracting authorities, provided that the period is specified in the transfer letter, and in the case of the infant leaving the kindergarten and hospitalized, £ 5 will be collected for each day of stay.
