Today, Monday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that 100 people recovered from Coronavirus have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical treatment and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, bringing the total of people recovered from the virus to 101,981 cases to date.
Dr Khaled Mujahid, advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for the media and official spokesperson for the ministry, said 354 new cases have been registered and tested positive for laboratory analysis of the virus, as part of the necessary procedures. of surveillance, investigation and examination that the ministry conducts according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, indicating the death of 12 new cases.
Mujahid said that according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.
Mujahid said the total number that has been recorded in Egypt with the new Corona virus as of Monday is 113,381 cases, including 101,981 cases that have been treated and 6,560 deaths.
