The Intercontinental Exchange Bitcoin futures exchange platform, Bakkt expressed interest in adding cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin, in a Twitter Q & A on Friday.

Since Bakkt was repeatedly questioned by the community on the addition of other cryptocurrencies to his platform, Bakkt replied:

"We will consider further contracts as the landscape evolves and receiving more feedback from customers on what they want and need."

The comments for this post on Twitter have been flooded mainly by supporters of XRP. A well-known Twitter user between the XRP community and Ripple, Dr. T, tweeted a survey and suggested the list of XRPs, which was attended by over 6,300 people.

Another Twitter user, Crypto Rand, said:

"$ XRP, please, is the future of money, the standard, the revolution, a way of life, thank you so much, Lords."

Justin Sun, founder and CEO of the Tron Foundation, has retweeted Bakkt's post, saying that TRX would be the best choice if Bakkt had decided to add more currencies to his platform.

On Thursday, Misha Lederman, a Tron enthusiast, tweeted a copy of the letter sent by the Tron community to Bakkt in response to their tweet. The letter explains why Tron is considered in the list of the next Bakkt asset.

Although Bakkt's tweet on the addition of assets other than Bitcoin has stimulated the crypto-community, it is not expected to occur soon because Bakkt recently postponed the launch date of Bitcoin Futures trading from December 12th to January 24th. 2019.

Bakkt's CEO Kelly Loeffler explained that the delay is due to rigorous tests and repeated tests. She said:

"With the launch of the product, there are new processes, risks and mitigations to test and re-test, and in the case of Crypto, a new asset class to which these resources are applied, so it makes sense to adjust our timeline as we work. with the sector towards launch ".
