As with the NXT, Smackdown got another tribute to remember Pat Patterson.

Opening Smackdown, we had an interview conducted by Kayla Braxton, with WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Before the interview began, images were shown of what happened in the previous week’s episode, from Roman Reigns’ sermon to Jey Uso, from the attack on Otis and Daniel Bryan by Jey Uso and also from the beating that Kevin Owens gave it to Jey Uso. to the fact that “Prizefighter” says he is not afraid of Roman Reigns.

When Kayla Braxton asked WWE Universal Champion if she was afraid of Kevin Owens, Roman Reigns started insulting Kayla Braxton for asking stupid questions. The interviewer then asked if the “tribal leader” had manipulated Jey Uso, which angered the champion, because these are stupid questions.

The insults kept flying, this time with Paul Heyman already responding to Kayla Braxton, until the interview was interrupted by Kevin Owens wanting to get the action started. Jey Uso wanted to answer, but the “Prizefighter” said he was talking to the head of the family and not the messenger.

Kevin Owens then challenged Roman Reigns to a TLC match at the event of the same name, but the lead candidate now wanted to open hostilities, but the “Tribal Chief” said she was a lady in the ring and wouldn’t fight there and now .

Backstage, Jey Uso was irritated by Kevin Owens ‘words and apologized for taking Roman Reigns’ challenge, but very calmly said there would be consequences, something that upset his cousin.

Natalya beat Bayley: The first match of the evening, Bayley came in forcefully, having nevertheless shown more attention to Bianca Belair, who was at the commentary table, than to the opponent Natalya.

Even so, the “role model” completely dominated this fight, however Natalya managed to apply the Sharpshooter out of nowhere and Bayley had no choice but to surrender.

Who had fun with all of this was Bianca Belair who enjoyed Bayley’s defeat.

Then we had more images from the Pat Patterson tribute, with several images of tweets of people related to WWE and also a video package a homenagear or WWE Hall of Famer.

– Daniel Bryan, Big E and Rey Mysterio venceram WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler and Shinsuke Nakamura: In this Pat Patterson tribute match, the trio of Daniel Bryan, Big E and Rey Mysterio became dominant, until the matriarchy of Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler and Shinsuke Nakamura isolated “American Dragon”.

After several minutes of domination, Big E entered the ring and his strength completely reversed this 6-Man Tag Team Match. From then on, chaos reigned in this fight, with the two teams nearly winning multiple times.

Eventually Daniel Bryan and Sami Zayn were in the ring and “American Dragon” then captured his rival with a Small package, having thus won this battle.

As soon as the match ended the trio of Daniel Bryan, Big E and Rey Mysterio entered the ring and got rid of Shinsuke Nakamura and Sami Zayn who had Dolph Ziggler in the ring and the “Show-Off” still tried to break free. of his fate but had no chance and ended up suffering a 619 and a Great finish.

Backstage we had an interview with Kevin Owens who said that what irritates him most about Roman Reigns is that he respected him but that he has changed and that although he has treated many people badly in the past, he is trying to change that. This interview had a strange moment where Kalisto accidentally interrupted the interview. The segment ended when Otis appeared alongside Kevin Owens and said he’s determined to get his hands on Roman Reigns and Jey Uso.

The next was the “War of Words” between Smackdown women’s champion Sasha Banks and Carmella. The two spent time insulting each other, with Carmella saying as Sasha Banks always strived to be a WWE superstar, while it all came naturally to her. The insults continued until Sasha Banks said that if Carmella wanted to fight for the Smackdown Women’s Championship, then she would have that match.

– King Corbin defeated Murphy: This time King Corbin was accompanied by two fighters (Steve Cutler and Wesley Blake) to prevent the Mysterio family from interfering in the fight. When it comes to the fight itself, the “King of WWE” used his strength and aggression to dominate from an early age and even as Murphy accelerated, King Corbin lost control of the fight.

After a long domination, Murphy began to balance the fight and that was when Steve Cutler and Wesley Blake attacked Rey Mysterio and Dominik, which brought the Australian fighter out of the ring to help his new family. When he entered the ring, King Corbin applied the End of days and won the battle.

Behind the scenes we had the Smackdown Tag Team Champions Street Profits talking about Roman Reigns’ behavior change and even if Otis can trust Kevin Owens. The funny champions were finally interrupted by Robert Roode and Cesaro who have declared that their teams want the Smackdown Tag Team Championships.

– Kevin Owens and Otis won WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Jey Uso (by disqualification): Jey Uso had to come into the ring on his own, as Roman Reigns didn’t make it into the ring. And how would you expect Otis and Kevin Owens to master this fight start with no problems.

After a few minutes of action, Roman Reigns arrived in the ring but didn’t wait label and concentrated on destroying Otis. Kevin Owens finally looked like he was about to get what he wanted when he attacked the “Chieftain”, but Jey Uso in flight stopped that attack.

And if the fight started as a handicap match for Jey Uso, now it looked like he was the “Prizefighter” who was outnumbered. Even so Kevin Owens managed to reverse the momentum against Jey Uso and started trying to get the “Tribal Chief” into the ring, but to no avail.

Only when “Prizefighter” has applied to Samoan Drop, the WWE Universal Champion stepped into the ring and chaos was unfolding. Shortly after, the tribal leader attacked Kevin Owens again despite not being the legal man, which resulted in his team being disqualified.

After the fight ended Roman Reigns and Jey Uso attacked Kevin Owens with a chair, an attack that ended only after a Splash of the third string. Then there was the surprise, with Roman Reigns who also gave his cousin a professorship as a result of what he did.

The episode concluded with WWE Universal champion Roman Reigns telling Kevin Owens that he and his family will be afraid of him.
