Vitalik Buterin and Ethereum: background and history

[ad_1]

You probably know him as the brilliant mind behind one of the biggest cryptocurrencies in the world, Ethereum, but other than that, who is Vitalik Buterin? The Russian-Canadian writer and programmer has been involved in the Bitcoin and Crypto community since 2011 and has also written some articles for Bitcoin magazine (which he also co-founded). Currently, Buterin is only 24 years old, will soon be 25 years old and is the figure of a billions of dollars project known as Ethereum.

Humble origins

Buterin was born in Kolomna, Moscow Oblast in Russia on January 31, 1994 and lived there for six years until his parents decided to move overseas to Canada in search of better job opportunities.

It was clear that Buterin was gifted and had a range of natural talents and gifts for mathematics and programming surprised many of his peers.

Student

We advance a few years when Vitalik was looking for a real passion and at that time stumbled into the space that is cryptocurrency. Buterin ended up spending a lot of time on several Bitcoin forums and studied the network behind the main cryptocurrency. To begin with, it was the network element that was interesting to Vitalik, but when he started to get more involved in the community, he began to better understand the digital potential of Bitcoin's core technology.

Ethereum

Still on for 2013, where Vitalik buterin explained the idea of his Ethereum white paper. He sent the idea to several friends who in turn shared it and Vitalik ended up getting numerous contacts who were interested in the idea of the Ethereum white paper and wanted to discuss it more. Vitalik was hoping for some fundamental feedback, but he did not get it.

The concept of Ethereum was very focused on currency at this time. The idea of the crypt has changed and has shaped over time and, once they have nailed the programming language, they have gone very well. New ideas were discovered every week, some good and some bad but some were really special. At the start of 2014, the team saw that it was easy enough to create a decentralized file archive and concepts such as the name registry could only be brought to life with a few lines of code. They were just a few small ideas like the one that brought Ethereum to what it is today.
