On January 12, Colombian women Valentina Llanos Henao, 17, and Natalia Morales Luna, 19, died in a car accident in the north of Tampa Bay, Florida (United States).

According to information from the Tampa Bay Times, the Florida Highway Patrol pointed out that the incident occurred when Llanos, who was driving a motorcycle, he turned left on one of the streets of Tampa and crashed into a van that traveled in the opposite direction.

The motorcycle on which the Colombians crashed into the vehicle and both were expelled, causing Llanos to die on the scene.

For his part, Morales was transferred to a hospital, where he died due to the severity of the wounds he suffered. Both were wearing helmets the moment they crashed, the Tampa Bay Times said.

Two men were traveling in the van: the driver, Peter Taafee, 46, and Christopher Barnett, 33. However, none of them got hurt in the event.

Valentina Llanos' family organized a fundraising campaign through the "Go Fund Me" platform to cover the costs of the funeral. So far they have collected $ 5.86.

Meanwhile, Natalia Morales's family, born in Cali, has also asked for support through that platform for all expenses that represent a funeral. So far they have raised $ 5,040.

Two dear girls

Llanos was born on July 13, 2001. The family and friends remember her as a very loving, cheerful and simple young woman.

Morales, for his part, had just turned 19 (10 January 2000). He was from Cali and studied at the San Pedro Claver school in the capital of Valle del Cauca. He liked football and was a young woman who spread happiness to his people.
