Tron [TRX] took another step towards global payments. The token is integrated on CoinPayments, which has a user base of about 2.2 billion sellers in 182 countries.
CoinPayments announced on Twitter:
"We are pleased to announce the addition of #TRON (TRX) to our platform.Each of our 2.2 million + companies and users can now accept payments in $ TRX through any of our integrations for all major e-commerce platforms! "
CoinPayments is known to be the first and largest cryptocurrency payment process in the world. It is also one of the most complete online cryptocurrency platforms. The platform allows merchants to accept Bitcoin [BTC] and over 600 other cryptocurrencies. They allow merchants to use the payment processor with the help of an "easy-to-use plug-in".
The payment platform wants to be the main platform in the "emerging" space of the cryptocurrency. They will reach this goal by adapting to the changing conditions of the cryptocurrency market and always supporting Bitcoin [BTC] and other cryptocurrencies.
The payment company claims that Tron will have a larger data release date, better provisioning of content, simple personal ICOs and advanced infrastructure. Tron is one of the major market cryptocurrencies in terms of market capitalization and this is one of the reasons that CoinPayment has integrated Tron onto their payment platform.
They said:
"Following TRON MainNet and their recent acquisition of BitTorrent, why not get an advantage in the accumulation of coins by accepting the TROn (TRX) payments in your store ready today!"
In addition , the company also states that Tron can be used for the purchase of products, services and can be used to finance projects. TRX can be used to pay for content and TRX content will be transmitted to content producers. Content producers can then convert TRX tokens into other cryptocurrencies or legal tender.
In their blog, CoinPayments claimed that Tron is already used for payment services in different markets, both online and offline. They also added that accepting Tron in its early stages will help merchants who do not see the use of TRX to "reach a vibrant community".
