The Blockchain TRON protocol (TRX) has exceeded one million user accounts, the data revealed on December 23, while executives continue their criticism of the rival Ethereum (ETH).

Statistics from the TRON blockchain loaded on social media Misha Lederman, co-founder of the spin-off project of the cryptocurrency IAmDecentralized.org, confirmed that the network now contains over one million addresses.

TRON, which launched its mainnet at the start of this year, seeks to become the reference ecosystem for developers looking to create decentralized applications (DApp).

Known for publicly criticizing the Ethereum, which is TRON's chief rival, CEO Justin Sun this week predicted a "slow implosion" for the altcoin.

Commenting on the point of reference of the address, Lederman suggested that the speed with which the activity has increased is also significantly higher than that of ETH.

"In comparison, (Ethereum) reached 1 million accounts on January 22, in 542 days or 18 months from (Ethereum) Mainnet Launch," he wrote.

answers highlighted the fact that Ethereum built its user base when the interest of cryptocurrency was marginal compared to current conditions.

Others added that, despite the growth, the price of $ 0.02 of TRX paled in comparison to the ETH / USD, which even after a 90% drop compared to the historical high, maintained a value of about $ 73.

TRX showed strong daily growth this week before a correction on the cryptocurrency markets saw the token lose 15% in the 24 hours at the time of printing. ETH fell 12.6% over the same period.
