Tron exceeds Ethereum for dApp Transaction Volume, launches Program for Developers

Ethereum has had a difficult week. Not only has it been pushed down by the ranks of the XRP market, now Tron has exceeded it in terms of decentralized network application volume.

dApp Volume on Tron Higher That Ethereum

According to the analytics dapp.review website, Tron Network is now above Ethereum in the dApp transaction volume:

TRONbet is the platform's leading dApp with a 24-hour transaction count of 543,000 equivalent to a TRX 181 million volume. TRONdice has over 18,000 daily transactions with a volume of approximately 744 million TRX at the time of writing. These are the only two dApps that drive traffic, otherwise they are rather inactive. The main Ethereum dApp, IDEX, has only 7,400 daily transactions with a volume of just over 2,090 ETH.

Launch of the developer acceleration program

To maintain this momentum in the network and encourage further growth, Tron has launched an acceleration program for dApp developers. The one-million-dollar initiative is aimed at empowering developers and promoting innovation within the blockchain industry, according to the official website.

The site goes on to explain that the accelerator program will actually be an online competition that will be;

"Reward up to 56 winning DApp projects across multiple categories, unlike some of the previous programming contests that rewarded many developers, TRON Accelerator does not present a loan or equity model, winning teams and developers will retain ownership of their products after being rewarded. "

Registrations and registrations will be accepted until the end of the year with the winners announced in January. Tron also hosts his first international summit in San Francisco in January called niTROn. Working on 17th at 18 yearsth the event will host a wide selection of speakers' panels, technical workshops and networking events, even if specifics have not yet been published on the site.

The Tron Network has been aggressively expanding despite the bearish market this year. After the acquisition of the peer-to-peer network, Bittorrent, Tron acquired the payment app, Poppy. The discussions last month with the Chinese Internet giant Baidu have led to collaboration on cloud computing services between the two.

Last week TRX did not escape the encrypted route, falling by 18% over the last seven days. Market capitalization fell to $ 1.2 billion, but managed to hold the eleventh position in the cryptographic rankings. At the time of writing TRX, trading dropped 6% on the day to just under $ 0.018.
