Serial 1 cycle

Until now, a random twist on the throttle was enough to ride a Harley. Serial 1 announced for 2021, however, requires some footwork.

Serial 1 Cycle heisst a new pedelec brand co-founded by Harley-Davidson, which plans to launch its first model on the market in the spring of 2021. Now images of the Harley-Davidson Serial 1 have been released, combining tradition and the future of the brand.

Visually, the bike is a clear reference to the first Harley motorcycle model introduced in 1903: the Serial Number One. This way, the future e-bike will also have a black painted frame with gold branding and light-colored balloon tires. As with the historic model, there is also a chrome-plated crank-pedal complex and a brown leather saddle.

In contrast to the classic look, there are various modern elements for e-bikes such as disc brakes, LED lights integrated into the frame, invisible cables and cables or the belt drive. Additionally, a Harley mid-motor is housed in a gray-black box, which draws its power from a battery built into the down tube.

Technical data and other details will only be published at a later time. Serial 1 should almost certainly follow suit Europe because there is already a German-language site for the new e-bike brand.
