With the intent to simplify capital raising and trading, the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (OTCPK: CMWAY) has won a mandate from the World Bank to organize a pioneering release of Kangaroo bonds to be created and managed using only blockchain.
No size or date was given for the new debt instrument, dubbed "bond-i" after the iconic Australian Bondi Beach, but will be launched after a period of consultation with multiple investors.
