Tom Emmer, a US representative, wants states to provide a safe haven from licensing and registration for certain non-controlling blockchain developers and suppliers.

This was the title of a resolution presented by Tom 2 days ago in the House.

What it would do for blockchain is that it would allow companies that rely on the commerce of cryptocurrency but do not hold the assets of users to be exempt from the laws on the transmission of money [if passed].

Representative Darren Soto, a Democrat, is the cosponsor of this resolution.

Since then the bill has been returned to the financial services of the Chamber for further control.

The Representative has a history of invoices related to the blockchain. In September of last year, Tom announced the introduction of three bills that addressed a number of problems concerning the blockchain space, its development, the extraction of cryptocurrencies and related taxes.

1. Resolution that supports digital currencies and Blockchain technology
2.Blockchain Regulatory Certainty Act
3. Safe haven for taxpayers with a fork-lift law

Also these, like the one presented two days ago, have been forwarded to financial services for further details.

Tom talked a lot about the financial revolution within blockchain. In his own words:

"Blockchain is a disruptive technology that will change the way we do business in almost every area.As an incoming Democratic co-chairman of Blockchain Caucus, I am proud to join my colleagues to lead the Congress so that policy makers and the industry can work together to fulfill this promise and release its economic potential in the United States and around the world "
