The UAE talk about the return of Syria to the Arab League

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Anwar Gargash, spoke on Thursday of the possibility that Syria will return to the League of Arab States during the next period.

In an interview with Arabiya from Saudi Arabia, Gargash said: "Syria's decision to return to the Arab League needs Arab consensus".

"The opening of contacts with Damascus will not leave the arena open to Iranian interference," said Gargash.

"Everyone is convinced that there is a political path to solving the Syrian crisis," he said.

Gargash commented on the opening of his country's embassy in the Syrian capital, Damascus, on Thursday, stating, through his Twitter account, that "the Arab role in Syria has become more necessary for the regional raid Iranian and Turkish Arab role and options are present and contribute positively to ending the war dossier and promoting opportunities for peace and stability for the Syrian people ".
