The survey conducted by the Bank of England reveals that XRP and other cryptocurrencies are the preferred way to receive money

Recently, the Bank of England, the Central Bank of the United Kingdom, conducted a survey on its official Twitter account regarding digital currencies. The central bank exposed the question about the most preferred method by people to receive money this Christmas. The options arranged by the bank were cash, wire transfer, gift certificate and digital currency.

With another four days to complete the survey, there are currently around 6662 total participants and most participants prefer to receive their Christmas money through the digital currency, as the option received a huge 67% vote. The second most preferred cash was cash, which received over 23% of the votes. Bank transfer was placed in third position with over 8% of votes and the gift certificate was the least preferred with 2% of the votes.

In addition, the comment section of the official tweet showed that XRP was one of the most preferred digital currency. Scubaman said:

"Not a digital currency! I would accept XRP..the biggest digital heritage ever created!"
