The new renders of the OnePlus 9 Pro indicate that the smartphone will feature a mix of OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8T designs with a perforated selfie camera in the top left corner and a curved screen.

The rear camera mount now faces the upper left corner and will likely include four lenses. OnePlus 9 Pro is expected to launch in March next year.

We recently saw a leak of a probable OnePlus 9 in the flesh and now we’re getting near-accurate renders of the OnePlus 9 Pro. Steve Hemmerstoffer of OnLeaks revealed CAD renders of the upcoming OnePlus 9 Pro smartphone that give a good idea of what it might be. expected when the phone is released early next year.

Steve says the OnePlus 9 Pro is still in the prototyping stage, but the design was more or less “set in stone”. Steve’s render of the OnePlus 9 Pro shows a similar front panel design to the OnePlus 9 with a piercing selfie camera in the upper left corner.

The OnePlus 9 series is expected to be a mix of the OnePlus 8 Pro and 8T design and display a curved screen. The screen size should be 6.55 inches.

The back of the 9 Pro will be glass. Unlike the 8 Pro, the OnePlus 9 Pro likely sports the rear camera module facing the top left corner, like the 8T and the OnePlus Nord. The rear camera set will house four lenses, but the specifics of these cameras are not yet known.

According to the renders, two of the cameras are inside metal rings similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and will protrude slightly from the case. The module will also house two small cameras (possibly macro and depth transparent), flash, microphone and other sensors.

The OnePlus 9, on the other hand, has a triple camera setup with a 48MP primary, 48MP ultra wide angle, and a third sensor, which is likely a monochrome or macro lens.

The OnePlus 9 Pro will feature the usual warning slider and power button on the right, the volume button on the left, and a speaker grill on the bottom edge.

Aside from this initial design preview, not much is known about the OnePlus 9 Pro. That said, you can expect a Snapdragon 875 SoC, a 120Hz / 144Hz screen and at least 8 or 12GB of RAM along with a capacity of 65W fast loading.

Steve, however, confirms that we will see the OnePlus 9 Pro launch as early as March 2021, a full month before the OnePlus 8 series launch in April. OnePlus Nord SE will likely follow suit a few weeks later.
