The candidate named “Adolf Hitler” wins elections in Namibia

Politician Adolf Hitler Uunona won 85 percent of the vote in last week’s elections and managed to get into the local assembly.

Speaking to the German newspaper Bild, the Namibian politician said he had no intention of establishing world domination. He stressed that it had nothing to do with Nazi ideology.

He claimed that his father gave his name. He said that his father had given himself this name without knowing Hitler’s ideology. German names are commonly used in Namibia, the former colony of Germany.
