The Spanish authorities are investigating a bus driver who went the opposite direction at the beginning of January on a Madrid motorway for over 11 kilometers.
The video of the incident was released but the case dates back to 2 January. The driver was not aware of the signals of drivers traveling in the opposite direction and kept going without realizing the danger.
Everything happened on the A6 that connects Madrid to Galicia. The man went in the opposite direction and advanced there for more than 11 kilometers. It went through with about 20 vehicles that were forced to divert to avoid the collision.
The driver, a 42-year-old Spanish, was subjected to alcohol and drug tests, which turned out to be negative. The man is now being investigated for a road safety offense.
