Dutch crypt company Libereum announced the acquisition of the Spanish soccer team Elche CF, which is based in the province of Alicante. The move provides another signal that the interest of the encrypted world for sponsorship and sports partnerships is growing.

Liberaum and Elche Share Joint Vision
Liberum, a company that "mainly aims to make cryptocurrency widely accessible to the average person", paid an initial payment of 4.3 million euros (4.9 million dollars) to the Spanish club. The acquisition marks a trend in the cryptic world to bring cryptocurrency into sport with the hope that P2P money can be adopted as a means of payment in stadiums, club shops, websites and elsewhere.

The main objective of Liberaum is to invest in football clubs, with the aim of generating demand for their own currency. The company has ambitious objectives to revise everything from the transfer and sale of tickets to merchandising and catering in the stadiums, aided by the cryptocurrency.
Growing the relationship between Crypto and Soccer
Liberaum is not the only company that focuses on football in hopes of reactivating the game with the help of the crypt.
