In his speech at the opening session of the Arab Economic Development Summit in Beirut, Shukri underlined the importance of completing the rest of the steps to increase the level of intra-Arab trade and launch the Arab Customs Union, emphasizing the importance of the adoption of the Arab Convention for the liberalization of trade in services between Arab countries.

He said that during the current session of the Council of Ministers of Social Affairs, Egypt wanted to launch a series of important initiatives that are currently on the agenda of the Summit, noting that the & # 39; launching its implementation will result in a qualitative shift of joint Arab action in the social field.
