Snapdragon 775G goes through Antutu with similar performance to Snapdragon 865

Yesterday we spoke here a News and technology that the Snapdragon 875 will have surpassed the Benchmark Antutu platform, where it was revealed that the SOC achieved a brilliant score of 740 thousand points. However, this wasn’t the only chip Qualcomm passing through the platform, since the Snapdragon 775G, the successor to the Snapdragon 765G, has passed at least one test.

Based on the tests we have learned that the Snapdragon 775G will have very similar performance to that of the current top of the range, the Snapdragon 865, given that the 775G scored around 530 thousand points in Antutu, which is just under 600 thousand points in the Snapdragon 865.

If that doesn’t sound surprising in itself, know that the current Snapdragon 765G averages 316,000 points in the performance proof. As a result, the 775G can outperform its predecessor by around 60%, although this performance gap is likely not as large in other applications and benchmarks. Furthermore, a score of 530,000 points places the 775G just 8% behind the 865, which in my opinion is impressive.

Unfortunately little is known about the Snapdragon 775G and we will probably have to wait until the Tech Summit 2020 to get more details about it. The good news is that this event will take place next December.
