Science Blockchain announces token blocking, plans to update the SCI token

[ad_2][ad_1]

Science Blockchain Pte Ltd., a startup firm that invests and creates blockchain technology companies, has announced that it will freeze the SCI token from December 5, 2018 to update the token.

The upgrade will improve the compliance process with respect to securities regulations. Science Blockchain will provide further instructions on the token update process in the coming weeks.

Other tokens that have been distributed through the SCI smart token contract, such as AVT (Aventus), MFT (Mainframe), WPR (WePower), DOG (ICO Watchdog), NCT (PolySwarm) and more, will not be affected and will remain available for withdrawal from Tokenhub, based on the status of each SCI token holder. Science Blockchain strongly encourages all SCI token holders who are authorized to withdraw their AVT, MFT, WPR, NCT, INVITE and DOG tokens to do so immediately.

US investor tokens are blocked for one year and can not be withdrawn from Tokenhub. SCI tokens have been made available for withdrawal by non-US investors from Tokenhub as of December 14, 2017. Withdrawal requests may be presented starting at 6:00 pm PT Dec 13, 2017. Withdrawal requests made before 08:00 PT Dec 14, 2017, were completed before 11:59 pm (11:59 pm) PT on December 14th 2017. All subsequent requests were processed on a daily basis on business days in the US and may take up to 2 working days for processing due to safety precautions. No new token withdrawal requests will be processed until the updated tokens are issued. If you have previously collected the SCI tokens from Tokenhub previously, make sure that they are kept in a portfolio that you control when blocking.
