David Schwartz, Ripple’s chief technology officer, is revealing more details about its crypto holdings.

Schwartz, who is one of the original architects of the XRP Ledger, claims to own at least 1,000,000 of XRPs, valued at $ 555,000 at the time of writing.

While he doesn’t want to reveal the exact number of XRPs he owns, Schwartz says the number is less than 10,000,000 XRP, which is worth $ 5,500,000 at the current price of $ 0.55.

Schwartz leaked a lot of details about his crypto wallet this year.

He recently claimed to have lost $ 300,000 trading altcoins which have experienced extreme drops in value, including TIX, DICE, FLASH, VEZT, AMP, SIG, BEE, KIND, PRYZE, KUDOS and NRN.

Years ago, Schwartz revealed that he sold 40,000 Ethereum for $ 1.00 per coin, sold Bitcoin for $ 750, and sold XRP for $ 0.10.

The sales were part of an effort to remove risk from his wallet and avoid having too many eggs in the cryptocurrency basket.

As for his current holdings, Schwartz says they aren’t as different as they once were. At this point, most of its investments in the crypto space are contained in four crypto assets.

“I own XRP and BTC as well as small amounts of BAT and ETH and very small amounts of a few others.”
