Ripple technology that speaks for itself – Santander Impressed, XRP in second place once again

[ad_2][ad_1]

Ripple's partnerships are seen as thriving, and it's not all the technology that's starting to talk on its own. Banco Santander, which is currently managing an application of payments powered by Ripple called One Pay FX, is considered able to overshadow many competitors in the field of cross-border technology.

Santander's Executive Chairman, Ana Botín, underlined the provisions of One Pay FX al Santander International Banking Conference. Said Botín,

"You can make FX transfers in real time between the UK and mainland Europe, and you can actually do Poland, Brazil and Chile – through Santander – at the same cost as Transferwise …"

Comparatively, TransferWise is only available for the United Kingdom through the instant EPS payment system.

Santander was one of the first to incorporate Ripple's technology into April 2018. Fast forward nine months later and Santander's president already wants to expand One Pay FX to help non-bank customers around the world.

Take of Blockmanity

Ripple's revolutionary cross-border technology is considered a threat to the more established SWIFT. It will be interesting to see the debate on Ripple and SWIFT next month, February, on their technologies at ITC conference in Germany. The two Global Heads of Banking will represent both sides, Marpple Delatinne of Ripple and Wim Raymaekers of SWIFT.

The Ripple XRP at the time of writing has regained the second place with a market capitalization of $ 14,171,934.895 and valued at $ 0.347401.
