Ripple Hire reveals the push to expand XRP adoption in Europe, the Middle East and Africa

A new open position in Ripple is shedding light on the company’s interest in driving XRP adoption in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

The San Francisco-based startup is looking for a senior business development manager to “drive growth and develop relationships with key partners across EMEA,” with a specific focus on creating interest in blockchain technology and resources. digital.

In the job announcement, Ripple states that On-Demand Liquidity (ODL), its XRP-powered cross-border payments product, is a key component of the company’s vision of a value internet.

The London-based senior manager will be tasked with executing business deals with strategic partners and working with other Ripple teams to scale up volume and develop use cases for ODL.

The job announcement isn’t the first indication that Ripple is targeting XRP adoption in the region.

Over the summer, the startup’s vice president of customer success Marcus Treacher said he hopes to expand ODL corridors in EMEA and Asia Pacific (APAC) this year.

The company, known for its high turnover, currently advertises 26 open positions in total. Ripple is also looking for a CEO for RippleNet Europe.

The chief executive will be tasked with “supporting government relations activity in the region,” according to the announcement.
