Relive Ripple's XRP performance during 2018, now the second largest coin in Crypto

The Ripple team has actively informed investors about how they have achieved their goal of making cross-border payments as friction-free as possible.. This includes several executives discussing the different products available (eg xCurrent, xVia and xRapid), the numerous established partnerships and, lastly, the way they differ from other payment companies.

Unfortunately, the same can not necessarily be said of its symbolic prices. Interestingly, AMB Crypto took the time to take a look back at the overall performance of the 2018 XRP, from the times of growth to continuous plumbs.

Here's what was shared by them:

At the start of 2018, the XRP token saw prices rise, as did most of the tokens. As noted by AMB Crypto, XRP reached a temporary milestone in which it surpassed Ethereum with a market capitalization of approximately $ 120 billion. This lasted only a week, and on January 11 the token saw its price drop by half its value to $ 1.75, with a market capitalization slightly lower than $ 70 billion. Somehow, the token managed to sit at around $ 2.10 USD, but this did not last, as the price eventually fell to $ 0.58 USD at the beginning of February.

It seems that for the most part XRP did not move much until December 16, when its prices were again cut to $ 0.29 USD with a market capitalization of around USD $ 11 billion. AMB Crypto also noted that the volume of trade comes mainly from ZB.com and Bitbank.

That said, it seems that the only thing that can be expected is a better year for cryptocurrencies. What are your thoughts on what will come? Do you hope the market will review its mania from 2017? Let us know in the comments below.
