Numerous police forces around the GTA are investigating more bomb threats to local businesses and transit centers in their areas.
The Toronto police said Global News agents responded to a call about the threat of a bomb at King's underground station at around 1:00 pm. on Thursday.

The station was evacuated a short time later and the accident was canceled.
However, the police said they were responding to numerous threats throughout the city.

The Peel and York regional police said they have also received calls on numerous bomb threats to local businesses in their areas. Both said that the bitcoin was requested in exchange for the position of the bombs.
Peel said the threats began around 2:00 There were six in total
Officials from all affected cities ask all those who receive these threats to contact the police.

On Thursday, RCMP said bomb threats were sent to B.C. car dealers in Penticton, Vernon and Kamloops via e-mail. The unknown sender required bitcoin payments.
The Ottawa police said they were dealing with a similar situation in the capital.
It is not clear if any of the events is connected right now.
