The case of the ICO's Ethereum Blockchain could be very controversial, given the high-profile scams. However, it has established itself as the blockchain for many other positive reasons.
One of these cases was highlighted by Vitalik Buterin who is the creator of Ethereum and one of Blockchain's most famous personalities.

Vitalik Buterin is talking about Nevada using Ethereum to store digital versions of important government documents such as birth and marriage certificates.
AP reports that Washoe County in Nevada has received excellent feedback from the digital marriage certificate program that uses the Ethereum blockchain. According to Phil Dhingra of Titan Seal, Ethereum Blockchain is ideal as it is difficult to hack.
Over 950 digital certificates that use Ethereum's smart contracts have already been issued in both Nevada and outside, but the answer is mixed where some people are still not used to digital native documents.
The next item on the agenda for Washoe County is to use Blockchain technology for a disaster recovery digital record system.
