Explaining why they didn’t stop the men, Bernards pointed out that many people have come to the place famous for the new discovery with dozens of cars and ruined the environment with a virgin texture.
The 3.5-meter-tall monolith in Utah was seen on November 18 by a biologist traveling by helicopter to determine the number of sheep in the state.
Photographer Bernards’ testimony put an end to rumors that aliens were taking the monolith.
On Tuesday, 34-year-old athlete Andy Lewis also uploaded a video to YouTube titled “We removed the monolith in Utah.” The images featured moments similar to Bernards’ photos, but no further information was provided.
