He said that, starting from mid-December, “we will again be able to move without permission, even between regions, and spend Christmas with the family”.

From December 15, cultural centers such as museums, theaters and cinemas will also be able to reopen, in compliance with health regulations.

As for vaccinations, the French president expected that the first vaccinations against Covid-19 would begin in France in late December or early January, including “the most vulnerable”.

And while some vaccines are likely to be “available from the end of December”, he stressed that “they can be used as soon as the relevant health authorities approve them”, provided that a “large-scale vaccination campaign” follows without them. vaccination is mandatory.
