University of Craiova is the leader of League 1, with 24 points, three more than the main rival, FCSB. The Oltenians overcame the defeat on their own field in front of those of Academica Clinceni, 0-1, and brought all three points in the last stage, on the field of Hermannstadt, scoring 1-0.

Chindia Targoviste is in 9th place in the ranking of the first championship in Romania, with 11 points. Dâmbovițenii travels on Ion Oblemenco, after two consecutive failures: 0-1 with UTA and 0-2 with FCSB.
