Is it a good idea to buy Stellar now?

Stellar (XLM) has been one of the most competitive long-lasting tokens for years. The currency was originally launched in 2014, which makes it even older than Ethereum. For half a decade, the coin was close to the top, and until today was one of the fastest cryptocurrencies. With such a reputation, it is immediately clear why investors tend to put their faith in this currency.

However, time flies in cryptographic space and things can change quickly enough, including trends, reputations and even positions. For this reason, it is not surprising that investors and Stellar enthusiasts want to know if money is still a good choice when it comes to buying or HODLing.

Is it time to buy Stellar?

As many already know, there are several significant factors that can serve as an indication of how the currency is doing at any given time. The first factor includes short-term trends, which may be bullish or bearish. The cryptographic market lives them continuously, and they usually take place for a while, only to be quickly replaced. In 2018, the downward trend established a clear dominance, and as a result the criptos have lost much of their previous value.

Because of this, coins are currently believed to be mostly underestimated, which is why selling them now will not produce much profit. However, the same low value could be perfect for those wishing to invest in them.

The second factor worthy of consideration in Stellar's case is his inability to move away from his trading price of $ 0.1. While it is true for XLM, the situation is just as bad when it comes to most other coins. Although this means that Stellar is maintaining a certain level of stability, investors would still prefer to continue doing so if the currency managed to break out and experience a real wave.

So far, however, Stellar has not been able to make such a move and its price is usually between $ 0.09 and $ 0.15. At the time of writing, the value of XLM is equal to $ 0.13 and currently holds the sixth position in the list of the largest encrypted, after that EOS has recently taken 5th place.

Another thing to consider is the volume of currency exchanges, which also saw a certain stability in Stellar's case. For this reason, it seems that the project is not attracting new operators at present, which can be considered a negative development by long-term investors. This situation has been a constant for over a month, since Stellar briefly passed the fifth position of EOS on 13 November.

Conclusion

Stellar (XLM) is one of the fastest, oldest and highest-level encryption projects. It can offer stability, great speed and more than a decent market capitalization. Its price is somewhat limited at the moment, although many investors believe that the next race could help XLM reach new milestones. It remains to be seen whether this will happen or not, and experts predict that something like this could happen at the start of 2019.

Optimistic investors may consider the idea of investing in money while it is low-priced, since cryptographic space remains unpredictable and the value of any currency can rise without warning at any time.
