iPhone 13: what the leaks say about Apple’s new design – Devices – Technology

[ad_1]

Despite the launch of the new iPhone line, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max until a few weeks ago, rumors and leaks do not stop in technological products. And for this we are already beginning to see the possible data of the next generation of Apple smartphones.

As noted by Ross Young, a renowned screen analyst, the iPhone 13 will repeat the pattern of the iPhone 12 and will have 4 versions; 5.4-inch iPhone 13 mini, 6.1-inch iPhone 13, 6.1-inch iPhone 13 Pro, and 6.7-inch iPhone 13 Pro Max.

In terms of design, it is leaked that they will continue with the iPhone 12’s recent angled profile. Likewise, the camera module would be square and the lenses they would use would be the same size and that it would even have the LiDAR sensor to capture images 3D.

Before the release of the iPhone 12, some rumors suggested that the notch would disappear or that it would be much smaller, in the end it didn’t happen, but once again they point out that in the iPhone 13 it can happen.

Among the rumors, not always correct, we have begun to talk about the refresh rate of 120 Hz, already available in some Apple devices such as the iPad Pro 2020 and which would give the screen greater fluidity. All four are also expected to be equipped with an OLED screen and the infrared sensor that includes Face ID will be changed to a Time of Flight (ToF) type.

In this sense, Face ID would continue, but there is also talk of the incorporation of Touch ID, a fingerprint reader, included on the screen, as already seen in several competing devices. It is also said that the next iPhones would have the option to buy them with 1TB of capacity, although this rumor is not that safe.

On the subject of battery, which is becoming increasingly important in the smartphone war, it is said that Apple would incorporate a soft plate battery that would allow smaller batteries, but without sacrificing the autonomy of the phone.

If this happens, the iPhone 13 would be the first smartphone to have this technology, more compact and cheaper to produce. Being smaller, the devices could be even thinner.
