According to the article, IBM will promote blockchain in collaboration with the central bank of the country, Bank of Thailand. A recent IDC-IBM survey shows that global spending on blockchain will reach $ 9.7 billion by 2021.

At the same time, IBM plans to use Watson AI, a computer system with artificial intelligence and able to answer questions using its own database, to find insights for different areas of the country, such as retail, education, finance. , business and energy.

Thai officials have recently begun to apply blockchain in several areas. In early October, the Thai Ministry of Commerce revealed that it had begun conducting feasibility studies on the use of blockchain in copyright, agriculture, and commercial finance. And later, in November, the local revenue department announced its plans to track tax payments using blockchain and raw material learning.

Since then, IBM has filed many more blockchain-related patents, including patents for a blockchain platform for scientific research and another for decentralized archiving of trusted sites for augmented reality games (ARs).
