How Binance is leading gender equality in technology

[ad_1]

The fields of Engineering and Mathematics of Science Technology (STEM) have for decades been considered masculine professions. But over the years, women have shown that they too can face STEM careers in a similar or superior way to their male counterparts. The same can be said about the crypto and blockchain industry. We only need to explore the cryptic communities on Telegram, Twitter and Reddit to experience firsthand that women are more active than ever in discussions on investment and trading.

Binance is setting the pace for gender equality in technology

Unbeknownst to many crypts, enthusiasts and traders, many of the biggest decisions and moves in the Binance ecosystem are run by women. The exchange team recognizes that they owe much of their success to their colleagues who take on many critical roles in the Binance ecosystem.

The Binance team gave us exclusive access to how women have taken on crucial roles in the company through a recent blog post that states the following.

Among the fight for gender equality of many companies in the technology sector, Binance has given importance to entrusting women with several crucial roles within the organization.

This involved approximately 50% of the positions of employees in Binance, including more than 40% of the leadership positions held by women.

In almost all of Binance's divisions, you'll see women or the main strategy or performance at peak performance, often simultaneously at the same time.

Notable women in Binance

The exchange had the pleasure of having the following women in their organization who continually pushed to see Binance succeed.

  • Ella Zhang, manager of Binance Labs (center)
  • Helen Hai, manager of Binance Charity (right)

He Yi, co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Binance, further explains how the exchange managed to recruit a lot of excellent women.

Currently, our proportion of female employees is very high, accounting for about half of our team.

We see more and more women entering the industry and many exceptional women have emerged in space. I think this is the best proof, given that Binance does not consider gender or civil status during the hiring process.

We have naturally recruited many excellent women and we talk through our strength to Binance.
