Eric Schmidt, former head of Google, said the age at which a world talent is determined is 16 and that age is magical.

Schmidt is looking for the 100 smartest children in the world. Stating that the next generation should take part in world affairs, Schmidt announced that he has created a talent-hunting foundation to identify these 100 young people. In this context, it was reported that the organization, owned by Schmidt Future, has partnered with the UK-based charity Rhodes Trust to implement the Rise project. Speaking to Time magazine, Schmidt said: “Considering all the mistakes we make, the sooner we can assign a task to the next generation, the better.”
