Cryptographic exchange Gemini has just launched a mobile wallet for its users.

Gemini's CEO and co-founder, Tyler Winklevoss, wrote in an average post on Tuesday that the new app allows customers to buy or sell cryptocurrencies, view market prices, view their portfolio values and set price alerts, among other features aimed at traders.

The exchange is working to "build the future of money" through its authorized and regulated exchange bank, wrote Winklevoss, ensuring that customers can place their holdings on a compliant platform.

"A reliable and regulated platform, however, is only the beginning. The future of money is both digital and mobile, and now Gemini also has the launch of the Gemini Mobile app," he added.

As such, the app presents Gemini's institutional security, while remaining easy to use, he said.

Among the offers is the Gemini basket, nicknamed Cryptoverse, which allows customers to simultaneously purchase all the coins currently offered by the exchange – bitcoin, ether, bitcoin money, zcash and litecoin – simultaneously.

The coins are weighted according to market capitalization, according to the post.

Gemini added bitcoin liquidity a few days ago, after obtaining approval from the New York Department of Financial Services.

"We've spent the last three years building the most reliable cryptocurrency platform in the world and today we're excited to extend it to you and allow you to interact with cryptocurrency wherever you are and whenever you want," Winklevoss wrote Tuesday.
