Gab says that Bitcoin is the clear solution as "free money"

[ad_2][ad_1]

Gab, a social media platform free from censorship, took on Twitter to proclaim the Gospel according to Bitcoin. Describing the grandfather of cryptocurrency as "money of freedom of speech", he is committed to educating his community close to millions of people.

The next evolution of online payments

In recent tweets, Gab asks for the next evolution of online payments, in the form of non-censurable money. This must require processing of online payments from the hands of a small number of gatekeepers. Concluding Bitcoin as "the clear solution", Gab cites Silicon Valley's inability to declassify it from the use of cryptocurrency.

Gab sees his role now as to make Bitcoin easy to buy and use. Something says that it can (and will) reach with enough education and time. Gab:

We are not doing it because it is fashionable or fashionable or the latest technological fashion. We are doing this out of necessity.

All right, but Gab is certainly not the first of the "champion Bitcoin" table. What do you think can bring with you that is different?

A community of almost one million people (and growing)

Making a clear passage in what they call "startup of cryptovalevers", Gab makes fun of their relative lack of interest from users. Despite the tens of millions of dollars raised, these startups can not compete with Gab's highly committed community, according to tweets.

Gab claims that its users have been "tested for years" for maintaining their mission to offer freedom of speech. He adds:

Bitcoin is inherently pro-freedom and pro-freedom. It's money for freedom of speech. Gab has the distribution to introduce it into a huge and growing community.

One million people does not seem so impressive, alongside more than 35 million authenticated users who already use cryptocurrency. And he is rather saying that Gab has chosen Twitter to spread his message, rather than his platform.

No Room At The Inn

The Bitcoin Gab sample arrives on the back of the recent PayPal ban. Nonetheless, Gab starts tweet-storm praising the results of PayPal in a first attempt to break down barriers to online payments.

Ironically, Gab has repeatedly found himself off the shelf, often because of his refusal to de-platform those that have been excluded from other major platforms. This has led to a reputation as a haven for incitement to hate.

Despite this last missive, Gab has not always had the simplest ways regarding Bitcoin. At the beginning of this year, your Coinbase account has been closed without notice. This led him to describe centralized exchanges as "cancer" and "contradictory for all that crypto represents".

Since then, the social media platform has moved to the self-hosted BTCPay Server solution, reducing dependency on third-party payment processors such as Coinbase and BitPay.

Gab now states that "… he has the power and the community to reverse the current bear market." That's not a euphemism. "

Holding the breath while waiting for this to happen, however, is not recommended.
