As of January 13th, users of the cryptocurrency exchange based on cryptocurrency in New Zealand have begun to experience technical difficulties with their accounts. Cryptopia makes it clear that it was a security breach and investigations are underway
It is with the previous background that the exchange has published another tweet explaining that the encrypted exchange has suffered a security breach that has caused significant losses. The Cryptopia team has also informed its users that they have notified all relevant government law agencies in New Zealand.
According to the tweet, the exchange suffered the attack on January 14th. All exchanges and movements of funds within and outside the exchange were also suspended.
