Exec Who Diminated Ripple Is & # 39; Distributed Ledger & # 39; He says XRP's More decentralized than Bitcoin's & # 39;

A new post from a senior Ripple executive has caused controversy just a day after commentators from the cryptocurrency community ridicule the company by stating that his ledger is "decentralized".

Schwartz Claims & # 39; Inherent Decentalization & # 39;

The last curious correspondence of Ripple, CTO David Schwartz said on August 22 that the Ripple XRP token was "inherently decentralized".

"Bitcoin and Ethereum are currently considered the gold standard for decentralization – which means they are designed in a way that no single individual or minority group can dictate or rewrite the chronology of transactions (the power of the blockchain !), "he wrote.

Since these blockchains are considered decentralized, so by design, even the Ledger XRP is – if not more – decentralized than both Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Ripple triggered a reaction several times in the last few months after Schwartz, along with CEO Brad Garling home, made several comments about their company and the XRP token that many have criticized as misleading.

Part of the narrative extends to the Ripple properties of XRP, with Schwartz who previously claimed that the two had no intrinsic relationship between them.

In June, he told the mainstream media that Ripple "is not a distributed ledger" and that its alleged core customer base, the banks did not want to use it.

Summing up the confusion on social media, Twitter's personality WhalePanda seemed to have little sympathy for the company's position.

"… What [XRP] is trying to do is take one small aspect of decentralization (validation) and try to tell a story about how they are decentralized," he wrote in response to Schwartz's post.

"… All this to try to be quoted on ever larger exchanges [pumpingthepriceforthelongesttimetoavoidtheneedfornewflags"

Schwartz himself had expressed the desire for "nuances" on decentralization.

"The theme of decentralization in blockchain is very nuanced, misunderstood and, frankly, evolving," he said, concluding:

… The XRP register is in many ways a more transactional, functional and decentralized register than to Bitcoin or Ethereum, which will increase only over time.
