Ethereum [ETH]Vitalik Buterin donates the development of the ecosystem in cryptocurrency

Vitalik Buterin, the co-founder of Ethereum [ETH], the third largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, has returned to the spotlight for donating Ethereum for three projects in the ecosystem. However, this Buterin pass was criticized by one of the foundation's main developers.

The first project to receive a donation from the Ethereum co-founder was Prsymatic Labs, one of the teams working to resize Ethereum. Buterin donated more than 1,000 ETHs to the project after co-founder Preston Van Loon said they were not able to focus completely on scaling back to Ethereum as team members were still working full-time on other jobs. He said:

The projects are known as Sigma Prime and ChainSafe, where the co-founder has donated 1,000 ETH to each of them.

Paul Hauner, co-founder of Sigma Prime, said on Twitter:

The latest project, ChainSafe, drew the attention of Peter Szilagyi, principal developer of the Ethereum Foundation, who went on to say:

In addition, Peter said he considered Buterin's step "insanely inconsiderate" towards the entire ecosystem of Ethereum, even if the donation was his and not the Foundation's. According to him, this is due to the fact that donations undermine the whole idea of ​​the Foundation's grant system. He added:
