Sunday at Spielberg's Red Bull Ring was an accident. A Töfffahrer (68) and his rider (46) in the sidecar – both from Switzerland – were thrown out of the vehicle and seriously injured.

According to the police, the driver on the track lost control of his vehicle, got off the train and crashed into a pile of tires. The 68-year-old was transported by helicopter to the Landeskrankenhaus in Graz. An ambulance took the woman to the Judenburg state hospital.
