Coronavirus Romania: almost 9,500 cases of COVID-19 in the last day / 174 deaths, over 1,100 patients in intensive care – Coronavirus

To date, on 13 November, 343,725 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) have been confirmed in Romania. 231,808 patients were declared cured.

Following the tests carried out at national level, compared to the last report, they were recorded 9,489 new cases.

To date, 8,684 people have died diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Between 12.11.2020 (10:00) and 13.11.2020 (10:00) they were reported 174 dead.

Of these, 1 death was recorded in the 20-29 age category, 1 death was registered in the 30-39 age category, 5 deaths in the 40-49 age category, 18 deaths in the 50- age category. 59 years, 39 deaths in the 60-69 year category, 66 deaths in the 70-79 year category and 44 deaths in the over 80 year category.

168 of the deaths recorded concerned some patients with comorbidities and 6 deceased patients did not have comorbidities.

In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 12,892. Of these, 1,149 are hospitalized at ATI.

To date, 3,630,856 tests have been developed nationwide. Of these, 37,136 tests were performed in the last 24 hours, 22,169 based on case definition and medical protocol and 14,967 upon request.

In Romania, 47,681 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are in home isolation and 13,141 people are in institutional isolation. In addition, 78,569 people are quarantined at home and 19 people are in institutionalized quarantine.

Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, 6,862 Romanian citizens were confirmed infected with SARS – CoV – 2. Of these, only 797 were declared cured.
