The loser of the bet must donate the amount to FreeRoss.org; a group of family members, friends and supporters working to provide legal assistance to Ross Ulbricht to try to mitigate his lie from his role in the anonymous SilkRoad market.

Comm stated: "When World Crypto Con reached our goal of engaging us in the event, we were told that it was not" just another gathering of crypto and blockchain communities. "They were not wrong! a place where thought leaders actually put their money in their mouths, or rather where their mouths are, it will be a lot of fun keeping track of the price of Bitcoin in the next year, to see if Vinny or Ronnie have to pay! order, we're all thrilled that it eventually benefits FreeRoss.org. "
The co-founder of World Crypto Con, Adam Williams, commented: "World Crypto Con has really kept his performance as a show of" what will happen "in cryptography and blockchain when Ronnie and Vinny took the stage. it would have been an event driven by experience, and that's exactly what it became when our panelist put his money at stake to predict the peak of Bitcoin in 2019. We aim to have fun and create connections that eventually lead to things done and in this case it will take $ 20k for FreeRoss.org – we all feel really good! "
